I've worked in the moving and shipping business for 31 years. I started out with a company in Philadelphia that only hired musicians, artists and actors when I was a touring musician. It was such a great experience that I decided to start a similar company in New Hope, PA. Working with like-minded people is a pleasant environment to be in, very stress-free.
I've always mainly sung and played guitars, but in the studio, I'll play other instruments bass gtr, keys, drums, and percussion. After almost 40 years of playing in weird rock bands I've taken a break from playing shows to concentrate on the house, the kids, business, etc. I'll always make records though.
My main interests are movies, watching American football, Breyer's Strawberry ice cream, listening to music and podcasts, raising frogs, and buying and selling 60's and 70's furniture, art, lighting, decor. BTW, you pronounce my last name (Oo-Wee), accent on the (Wee).
I'm originally from Upper Bucks County, and lived all over the western US before coming back to the area. I've been a writer of poetry and prose, and play guitar, bass, and drums. Longboarding and yoga are some of the activities that I enjoy, along with playing with my niece. I like vegan chocolate ice cream, and my favorite performing artist is my cat, who has a voice somewhere between Tom Waits and the sound of an electric guitar being dragged across a cyclone fence.
Saxophone, pizza, long hikes through the woods. These are some of my favorite things. Guitar, bass, and flute to boot find their way into the bands I play in. Cats, peaches, spicy food, and football Sundays are also really nice.
I hail from the northern region of New Jersey and have played drums for countless great bands over the last 35 years. I'm currently the drummer for the locally based 3 piece rock band called Reeder Station with Buzzcocks bassist Steve Garvey and James Seward.
Likes: mimes, miniature hats, long walks, cat hair and silent movies.
Dislikes: mimes, miniature hats, long walks, cat hair and website bios. I did find out that his favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip though! That's the inside scoop on my man Bradley.
Originally from Bucks County, I spent the majority of my childhood playing piano and singing with a professional choir out of Philadelphia. I traveled the world with them and developed a life long passion for singing and music. Since then I've continued to sing and travel the world! In my free time you can find me playing video games, spending time with my family, or reading a good book!
I'm a Bucks County native who has always focused on writing as my artistic direction. I was an editor and contributor for a national award-winning college art & literature magazine. I actively participate in local poetry compilations and live readings of my work. I enjoy hiking and foraging. My favorite movie is Brazil by Terry Gilliam. As far as frozen treats, Push-Up pops are where its at!
Tony is pretty much the strongest worker in the Robot & Son possie. Appearances with the crew are rare, but consider yourself lucky if he's on the job! He's usually busy with gigs - either running sound as CODA LIVE SOUND or playing drums with SHAPER & KENSKINGTON CLEARWATER REVIVAL as well as playing guitar and keys with CHRISTINA WARD & OUR BODIES THEMSELVES. Tony has not met anyone who has tried wawa pizza; however, he does recommend their fruit smoothies with oat milk & whipped cream. Story by Tony D.
New to Doylestown from Philadelphia. I enjoy getting lost in music and listening to the world around me. I like playing with different sounds and writing whatever flows to mind whether it be poetry, songs, or stories . Exploring in general is my thing from deep in the city to deep in the forest, getting lost is a fun habit of mine. Hanging out with my girlfriend and my main man Halo our cat is my 2nd favorite pastime.
I like making other artists look good! I've worked as a theater tech, with a special emphasis on music and sound design, and stage crew for twenty years. I also have a lot of experience working on art installations and curating solo and group art shows. I enjoy drawing and painting as well, though mainly for therapy.

"We recently had to do multiple moves of both our home and a large business - Joe was fantastic! He can scale his team to whatever your needs happen to be. Joe is a true professional who has been moving people for over 25 years and he's a genius at packing/unpacking the truck."

"Robot & Son did an amazing job on short notice. They were careful, but very quick! They also kindly wore booties over their shoes on the second and third floor so as not to scuff or track dirt per my request, which did not make things easy for them!! They were so thoughtful, kind, and gracious. I highly recommend."

"I've used Robot & Son for personal moves and for moving locations for my business. They are very fairly priced and professional. The guys are friendly and quick and I have never felt overcharged. I've also referred them to many other people and they let me know they were extremely happy! I highly recommend them! They are a 10 out of 10!!"
